This raffle is conducted by The Big Tuna Project (“the Promoter”), based in Bli Bli, Queensland, Australia.
Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Raffle Period
• Start Date: 25 March 2026
• End Date: 14 May 2026
Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
How to Enter
Tickets can be purchased via https://www.thebigtunaproject.com.au/
• $10 per ticket
• Online special: $100 for 14 tickets
Each ticket purchased equals one entry into the draw.
Prize Pool
The total prize pool is valued at over $20,000 AUD.
• Prizes are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
• The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equal or greater value if required.
Draw Details
• Draw Date: 15 May 2026
• Location: Mount Coolum Golf Club
Winners will be selected at random.
Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted via phone and/or email within 7 days of the draw.
Winners may also be published on The Big Tuna Project website and social media platforms.
Prize Collection & Delivery
• Major prizes must be collected at the winner’s expense from Bli Bli, Queensland within 2 weeks of the draw date.
• If a prize is not collected within this timeframe, it may be redrawn.
• Smaller prizes (such as vouchers), where possible, will be posted to the winner.
Winning the E-Bike (Cruzer E-Bike Compliance)
• The e-bike prize is supplied as a Cruzer E-Bike and is intended for use in accordance with Australian and Queensland laws.
• To be legally used on public roads and pathways in Queensland, an e-bike must comply with the following requirements:
Maximum continuous motor power of 250 watts
Motor assistance must cut out at 25 km/h
The motor must be pedal-assist (i.e. the rider must pedal for the motor to operate)
A throttle may only operate up to 6 km/h (e.g. for starting or walk assist)
The e-bike must comply with EN15194 (EPAC standard) where applicable (Queensland Government)
E-bikes that exceed these limits (including higher-powered motors or modified bikes) may be considered motor vehicles and may require registration, licensing, and insurance, and are not permitted for use on public roads or paths in Queensland (Queensland Government)
The winner is responsible for ensuring the e-bike remains compliant with all applicable laws and is used safely and legally.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for:
Any modifications made after the prize is awarded
Any fines, penalties, or legal issues resulting from misuse or non-compliance
The winner is responsible for all ongoing costs, including maintenance, safety equipment (including helmet use as required by law), and any optional insurance.
The prize is supplied as-is and subject to any manufacturer’s warranty and conditions.
Unclaimed Prizes
Any prizes not claimed within 2 weeks of the draw date may be subject to a redraw in accordance with Queensland regulations.
Use of Funds
All proceeds from this raffle support The Big Tuna Project, helping raise awareness and provide support for men’s mental health.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Big Tuna Project is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury suffered as a result of accepting a prize.
Privacy
Personal information collected will only be used to administer this raffle and contact winners.
Information will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
Compliance
This raffle is conducted in accordance with the Charitable and Non-Profit Gaming Act 1999 (Qld) and relevant Queensland regulations for Category 2 raffles.
